Gill Knowles

Ruth Thomas

 
Ruth is a friendly and approachable Occupational Health Advisor who aims to put employees at ease during their consultations.

Originally hailing from the South of Ireland, she qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Dublin, in 1994.

In 2004 she ventured into the field of Occupational Health, and has remained in that area ever since, gaining her diploma in Occupational Health at the University of South Wales in 2016. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is a member of the Royal College of Nursing.

Ruth had her Occupational Health debut in the Car Manufacturing Industry but has worked in several areas since that time.
She has experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Food and Food Packaging Industry, Healthcare and Public and Private sector industries.

She undertakes management referrals on a regular basis, offering appointments within a short time frame, tailored to the needs of both employees and companies. Reports are issued promptly following the management referral appointment.

Ruth is currently undertaking a qualification in Counselling.  Additionally, she does extensive voluntary work, as a Pastor for a church in Blackwood, and as a trustee for a charity, which supports a school and community project in Uganda.

Angela South

 
Ange is extremely capable, efficient and organised - exactly what you need from an accountant.  She is ACCA qualified and has experience in a wide range of organisations.

On leaving school, Ange worked initially for the HMRC.  When her family was relocated to Germany she took the post of Mess Accountant for the 1st Royal Horse Artillery.

When she returned to Wales she joined the Welsh Consumer Council where she was policy officer (during which time she gave a speech to the European Commission in Brussels ) and later finance officer. 

In 2008, whilst working as assistant accountant for a manufacturing company she achieved her ACCA status.  She then progressed to become Financial Controller of a food factory.

Ange has experience in payroll and office management and she undertakes interim accountancy assignments or project work.
She has learnt Welsh as an adult.
